Welcome HOME artist.

DEAR ARTIST IN THE PILOT ROUND…

start here

Welcome! Here’s ALMOST everything you need to know xx

A final note from the founder….

The Grapevine Collective is intentionally designed to be gentle, spacious, and non-intrusive. It’s not about pressure or performance — it’s a quiet touchpoint in your creative life, something that can slip easily into your routine. I want it to feel like a long-term home for your practice, not a fleeting hype-cycle. That’s why the format is relaxed: no love-bombing, no overwhelm — just a steady, supportive presence that invites you back to yourself.

Your “Seed” Piece

Your Creative Prompts

1. What is the first emotion or sensation this artwork evokes in you?
(Does it feel warm, cold, unsettling, nostalgic? Does it trigger a memory or a specific mood? Lean into your gut reaction before analyzing it.)

 2. What’s the emotional temperature of this piece — warm, cool, charged, still?
How can you translate that into your own creative language?

Example of the grapevine Method

I want to provide you one example of the Grapevine Method in action. Last month i chose a piece of pottery from one of my FAVOURITE ceramists Madeline King @earth_darlings

www.earthdarlings.com/shop

I have attached an image of my little investigation/response to the art and the prompt. i essentially just brain farted onto a page and that helped me determine where my own creation could begin.

I have also attached the composition i’m STILL working on so you can see how i took what i felt and made something new out of it.

I just want to impress upon you - THIS IS A CREATIVE PRACTICE, i don’t expect you to have a fully finished piece of art, i don’t expect you to ever release it for the world to see if you don’t want to.

I am sharing a glimpse into what i do ALL the time to keep contented and creating.

This song will never be released, but i’m glad i’m making it regardless.

TO BE AN ARTIST YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY MAKE ART.
